Colossians 1:24–29

I now am rejoicing in my sufferings on your behalf, and on my part am filling up the things lacking of the afflictions of the Christ in my flesh for the sake of His Body which is the Church, of which I became a servant according to the stewardship of God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, the mystery which has been kept hidden from the ages and from the generations, but now was made known to His saints, to whom God desired to make known in an experiential way what is the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of the glory, whom we are constantly announcing, admonishing every man and instructing every man in every wisdom in order that we may present every man spiritually mature in Christ Jesus, to which end also I am constantly laboring to the point of exhaustion, engaging in a contest in which I am controlled by His energy which operates in me in power.

The Omega Force is designed to be a catalyst for growth. The sequence is simple. We want to start with the fundamentals (Distinguish Level) and make sure we understand them. From there we want to work at our relationship with God. This means we focus on our proximity with Him, or our following Him, or our personal discipleship.

We usually start out our relationship with Christ with a strong desire to walk with Him and have His ways become our ways, yet something often moves us away until we are so focused on this temporary life that we lose our focus and proximity with Christ. In order to maintain our first love, we need to be people who are disciplined. We need to talk about, work at, and hold each other accountable to discipline. We need to be planners and responders, not reactors.

After our foundation is solid and we have focused on discipline, we need to continue to work on our discernment. Satan is crafty and knows how to destroy. His main weapon of choice would be ignorance that leads to deception. He would love for us to not have discernment, to not know why we have wealth, health, talents, etc. He would love for us to make discernment a Spiritual gift, to focus on self and family to the exclusion of those who have no family, and to those who have no hope. The only way to discernment is to be solid in our fundamentals, to be disciplined to stay in proximity with Jesus as a follower. As we do these things, we hear the still small voice of the Spirit, and know why we have and are what we are, and can live life in that context.

When our relationship is where it should be and we know the fundamentals, we are following Jesus, we discipline our bodies in order to maintain this intimate position, and we become discerning individuals, we can then look forward to a wonderful rewarding time with our Savior. That is why diligence, is the last link in the learning chain. The commitment to love, serve, and die are not for a time, but for a lifetime. We do not retire from loving, from giving, from dying, or from teaching.

The Omega Force is designed to help you in the following areas:

1. Teach the fundamental truths of the God, Bible, life, and faith.

2. Help you learn the importance of being a follower, or disciple.

3. Encourage you to be disciplined.

4. Help you develop a discerning mind.

5. Encourage you to keep with it until the end.

We will do this in the following way.

First, we encourage you to become a member of the Omega Force. The idea behind membership is simple. We want to develop an army of individuals who will agree to making decisions with the end in mind (hence the idea of Omega) and who aim to live by our slogan "No Regrets."

You become a member by signing the Omega Force Commitment Form found on this website. Once that is completed and sent to our office, you are a member. (There is no financial cost.)

Once you are a member, you will have access to all the resources on the Omega Force website. There are message series and books that are available to you. We have decided to give you a suggested price for each of these resources and ask that if you can afford to pay that price, that you do so. If you are in a position where you cannot pay for the resource, we ask that you pay what you can, or even use the resource for free and someday remember the ministry of The Omega Force (a division of Silver Birch Ranch) in your giving.

As you will notice, the various resources have a symbol by them indicating what level (Distinguish (Foundational), Disciple, Discipline, Discerning, Diligence) they service.

Most importantly, we ask that you remain in close proximity to our Savior and love our Lord in public. This means that we encourage you to find someone who is younger than you (same gender), and make it your responsibility to live life in front of them in a way that will show them how one who loves Jesus lives. Include this young person in your life and use the Bible to reprove his/her ideas, rebuke, and exhort with great patience. We also encourage you to find an older individual (same gender), someone in a different season of life than you, and meet with them regularly. Perhaps you can use some of the resources available in the Omega Force as fodder for your meetings, or just get together and do life and Bible study together. As you do this, make sure one of you is studied up so there is no pooling of ignorance and therefore stop the old telephone game that got us into trouble in the first place.

The Disciples changed the world because they chose to be close to Jesus. As they learned, they became disciplined, discerning, and eventually gave their lives in service to our Savior. Disciples are made by choice, by following. Let's live our lives in a manner that is worth following, in a way that compels others to imitate us as we imitate Him, and let us commit to putting ourselves in the best possible position for the next generation to see what that looks like.
